Extremely poor service! I was in agony and was made to wait 4 hour before finally being given medication!! Eventually I was told it’s going to be 10-12 hours wait before a doc can see me.
We waited for a long time - from 2000 hrs. up to the 0800 hrs. - but had results - an MRI was done then we were discharged after 1300 hrs. It was a long journey but we had been looked after very well. We noticed there were lack of doctors hence the longer wait to see patients. The service is good but might benefit more if there were more doctors or practitioners who can see patients to shorten the waiting time for patients to be seen.
I am satisfied with the prompt care I received at KGH A&E. The medical team performed excellently, God continue to bless our hospital King George Hospital and Queen hospital and all their work forces
10 hours in A&E no one communicated with me inspite of repeated enquiries by me to know what was going on! It was a terrible service, and no respect or dignity for patient at all!!!
In the main A&E section, the nurse who checked my blood pressure etc was rude and abrupt. She treated me like an animal. I then was moved to the emergency A&E department for a fast heart rate. A member of staff called Renato was rude and abrupt too. Dr Ahmed was very nice and gave me a more positive experience. The nurses forgot to hook me up to the IV drip after my CT scan which made me stay there even longer. The wait times were very long and everything seemed disorganised.
At the beginning everything was great but having to sit in a chair for over 12hrs and not been told a thing about my bloods what were taken it was that bad I left and I still don't know if anything came back in my bloods
The hospital is a mess I spent 16 hours there. Once the doctor said that I can go home I had to wait 3 more hours to get my medicines it does not make any sense
I told the doctors and everything about gallstones and no one wanted to believe me and I needed to lay down and the sister said I wasn’t allowed
Professional
Overall was treated with companion and respect.
